Job Purpose and Impact

The Security and Risk Incident Response Analyst III will play a key role within a team of premier incident response professionals as part of the command center. In this role, you will lead responses to complex security threats facing the organization and help further develop the incident response program to protect the organization globally. You will partner with cyber threat detection, intelligence and other teams to proactively identify threat actors, gauge security posture and strengthen defenses.

  • Drive activity to identify, deter, monitor and investigate security incidents.
  • Perform proactive analysis and reporting of cyber threats, data breaches and security anomalies.
  • Solve complex situations as domain specialist for incident response teams security event monitoring architecture and security engineering.
  • Collaborate with our cyber intelligence team and partners to share threat intelligence and response methods to strengthen our defenses and assist in the development and improvement of the long term incident response processes.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with global information technology and the business during incidents or crisis.
  • Produce reports and briefs for management that provide an accurate depiction of the current threat landscape and associated risks.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Experience with analysis of network traffic, application logs and endpoint artifacts
  • Strong analytical and investigative abilities with hands-on experience leading root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting incident response in a cloud native environment.
  • Experience conducting malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Are you looking for threat hunter role in detecting cyber threats in support of active forensic investigations? Cyber threats are evolving, and when perimeter security and automated protection aren’t enough, networks are compromised, information is accessed, data is exfiltrated, backups are wiped, and ransomware is deployed, locking up an entire organization. Join our threat detection and response team in performing active threat hunting to assist organizations recover from cyber incidents.

We’re looking for CND or CNO specialists who can think like a cyber attacker to figure out how security measures were circumvented by threat actors. This is an opportunity to use your analytical skills and gain endpoint detection and response experience to identify indicators of compromise. You will work in concert with incident response analysts actively engaged in forensic investigations resulting from network compromises and ransomware deployment. You Have:

  • Experience with EDR platforms, including Carbon Black, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, or Defender for Endpoint
  • Experience with conventional network- and host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, or handling malware
  • Experience with hunt teams, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, or security operations teams
  • Knowledge of security principles, including MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat landscapes, or attacker TTPs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and Mac
  • Knowledge of Security Tools in Application, Data, Networks, and Endpoint layers
  • Ability to leverage internal and external resources for research threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence on various attackers and attack infrastructure
  • Ability to identify anomalous behavior on endpoint devices or network communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience with identifying anomalous behavior, or 5+ years of experience with identifying anomalous behavior

The Opportunity:

As a network exploitation professional, you know that understanding the adversaries’ tactics, techniques, and procedures is crucial to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Penetration Tester to join our team. This is a hands-on and highly technical role. The ideal candidate will have experience scoping, leading, and performing red teaming, penetration testing, and product security engagements. You will be using a combination of automated tools and manual testing techniques to identify, exploit, and document weaknesses and vulnerabilities in networks, systems, web applications, and other hardware and software products. Become part of a team of security enthusiasts who perform cutting-edge research and promote an environment of innovation and knowledge-sharing. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Conduct red teaming, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments against various networks, device types, web applications, APIs, mobile applications, and software programs
  • Perform code review to understand control flow and identify security weaknesses
  • Lead and participate in engagements while coordinating with team members, vendors, and partners to demonstrate proof-of-concept exploitation of discovered vulnerabilities
  • Identify and establish methods to scale the team’s infrastructure, tooling, and procedures to include the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence concepts
  • Thoroughly document identified vulnerabilities to ensure clients and vendors can effectively patch or perform remediation
  • Continually research TTPs of advanced persistent threat (APT) actors and employ novel concepts during engagements
  • Effectively manage time and resources across multiple concurrent efforts
  • Provide both subject matter expertise and project management experience to serve as the “point person” for engagements
  • Lead scoping discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Present findings to key stakeholders and clients to include both technical and non-technical audiences

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a team and project lead role
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for infrastructure deployment and configuration
  • Experience automating simple tasks using Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, or PowerShell
  • Experience in tools used for social engineering, wireless, web application, API, Active Directory, and network security testing
  • Knowledge in CNE, network penetration testing, red teaming, application security testing, covert communications, encryption mechanisms, and network protocols
  • Knowledge of APT actor TTPs, and ability to emulate adversary activities
  • Knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows, and Mac operating systems
  • Ability to develop, extend, or modify exploits written in Java, .NET, or C#
  • Bachelor's degree
  • OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, GRTP, or GXPN Certification
