Overview:

Serves as owner for an assigned product or set of products by representing the voice of the customer and stakeholders to ensure that the product provides value to the customer, while aligning with the business strategy. The Product Owner defines their product vision and roadmap, prioritizes the product backlog, anticipates client needs and serves as primary communicator between product stakeholders and teams. In addition, the Product Owner plays a key role in the company’s strategic direction, defining and articulating new opportunities, and working in close concert with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and dedicated teams across the domain.

  • Work with senior leadership to build and own the product vision and roadmap that aligns with the overall strategic intent and communicate them with the team and stakeholders. Help to prioritize work aligned to product based on the overall vision and strategy.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the team and make autonomous decisions, quickly and thoughtfully, to move delivery forward in alignment with domain vision and strategy.
  • Help to develop enduring constructs and practices that enable the aligned teams to more effectively deliver value across the domain
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement or evolution across supported product suite, work with appropriate resource to implement identified opportunities
  • Work directly with aligned teams to create appropriate information radiators and other communication tools for internal teams and stakeholder use.
  • Use a matrixed influencing approach to work with essential business partners throughout the organization irrespective of hierarchy or divisions, advocating for aligned products and teams.
  • Focus on outcomes over outputs, incorporating design thinking methods and analytics to inform and participate in product design.
  • Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to break down silos and overcome roadblocks that might impede product delivery
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Prior experience prioritizing across competing priorities and quickly-changing landscape
  • Prior experience actively seeking out multiple opinions, yet making independent decisions and influencing positive outcomes
  • Understanding of Design Thinking principles
  • Knowledge of basic product design and development best practices
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices
  • Experience working in partnership with user experience teams on product design
  • Experience developing/managing digital capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Specific subject matter expertise as required by assigned product

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $97,869.52 - $163,115.87 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.

HealthEquity is hiring a Sr. Identity Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst to join us in the maturation of our access administration practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our IAM framework, ensuring that our systems and data are secured against unauthorized access. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing access needs, automating access administration, improving IAM processes, and ensuring the implementation of IAM best practices across the organization.

  • Integrate new and existing applications with current IAM platform for access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Gather requirements and facilitate discussions to implement and automate RBAC processes.
  • Provide IAM process guidance and requirements, create IAM solutions, collaborate with business partners and engineers, and create roles for application onboarding.
  • Support and follow Identity and Access Management principals.
  • Partner with the User Access Certification & Governance team when needed, which may include providing audit evidence.
  • Reconcile and assess the quality of access administration tasks completed by the team.
  • Facilitate collaboration and work with multi-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Administer and maintain IAM technologies such as privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance tools.
  • Create process documentation to manage access administration processes for centralized applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related fields in information security.
  • Strong understanding of IAM frameworks, best practices, and governance models (e.g., RBAC, ABAC).
  • Technical exposure to IAM tool suites such as SailPoint IdentityNow, NERM, and BeyondTrust.
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM solutions (e.g., EntraID, GCP, AWS).
  • Experience with automation tools for IAM processes.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations for IAM tools.
  • Extensive experience in access governance across large organizational networks, including third-party entities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and anomalies in IAM data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Identity Access Manager (CIAM) or similar certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in Product Management, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Proven ability to manage the roadmap for a revenue generating software product through experience in all areas of the product lifecycle from idea to launch.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, threat landscapes, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with product and project management software, such as JIRA and AHA!
