As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will ensure the stability, performance, and security of our Federal region’s cloud platform. You’ll manage infrastructure and operations with a focus on availability, latency, performance optimization, monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning. This role requires maintaining a FedRAMP-compliant environment and working closely with teams to meet the highest standards of security and compliance.We adopt an "everything as code" approach, leveraging automation and best practices to create an efficient, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. You will be instrumental in maintaining core infrastructure services that are robust, secure, and capable of processing high volumes of data seamlessly.

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Person and may need to perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be carried out by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.

Candidate will need to be located in the Pacific Time Zone

  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the Federal region’s infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and manage FedRAMP-compliant infrastructure and systems.
  • Establish continuous monitoring, logging, and auditing processes to ensure compliance with FedRAMP controls.
  • Partner with security teams to conduct security assessments and implement necessary controls.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that support multi-region growth.
  • Drive automation efforts, enabling infrastructure and platforms to scale efficiently with a focus on compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices, evolving security threats, and FedRAMP guidelines to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Deploy and maintain cloud-native services in AWS that are resilient and elastic.
  • Participate in 24x7 incident response and on-call rotations.
  • Plan for capacity and work with teams to prepare for platform growth.

Technical Skills

  • 8+ years of experience building and operating FedRAMP environments or similarly regulated systems.
  • Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Glue, EMR, Redshift, OpenSearch, VPC).
  • Deep understanding of the FedRAMP framework, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling platforms with high availability, resilience, and strict SLO objectives.
  • Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems and cloud providers, ideally AWS.

We are seeking an Enterprise Regional Sales Manager who is ambitious, adaptable, and enthusiastic. A successful Enterprise Regional Sales Manager at Cribl will clearly articulate our value proposition and execute on proven sales processes. This Regional Sales Manager will come with accountability and ownership, specifically in meeting leading indicators. Most importantly, we put our customers first, always. We are looking for an Account Executive who will do just that. The ideal candidate will come with expertise in creating customer centric solutions, and be able to build strong enduring relationships with our customers.

  • Develop a business plan to overachieve sales goals
  • Manage and maintain the entire sales ecosystem from generating leads through closing
  • Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
  • Articulate our value proposition up and down the organization, from engineer up to CxO
  • Forecasting predictably and hitting sales targets

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quota carrying Enterprise Security sales experience calling on Security (SIEM & Observability) & IT Personas (CISO/CIO’s)
  • Experience working with at least one earlier stage start-up organization <1000 employees or has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills throughout their career
  • A proven track record of landing 5+ new logos each year and demonstrated ability to run a complex sales process
  • Experience selling through a channel led motion
  • Able to create demand in a territory and selling un-budgeted solutions
  • Background using MEDDIC

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), and equity. The total compensation offered for this position will include a commission/incentive plan.
