Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for planning and managing a large IT Cyber Defense Operations program, including ensuring product delivery, quality, and cost goals are met. Lead and manage a multi-functional team responsible for the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of the complex infrastructure, hardware, and software required to manage the security and risk posture of networks and resources effectively. Ensure the appropriate usage of security products and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s objectives. Manage and design the innovative integration of Cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities as a means of improving the security posture while reducing manpower requirements. Oversee the analysis of emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable the secure implementation of new technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with supporting IT and Cybersecurity efforts for a government agency
- 5+ years of experience with IT leadership
- 5+ years of experience with managing large IT efforts, including supervising substantial operations encompassing user systems, integration, and training in diverse operating environments with people of various job categories and expertise
- Experience with conducting business decision analyses, including cost benefit and business case analysis for major IT infrastructure assessments
- Experience with presenting materials to senior government officials
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with Cybersecurity in lieu of degree
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including GSEC, Security+, or SSCP
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with conducting Total-Cost-of-Ownership (TCO) analyses, including a TCO distributed computing tool and TCO suite preferred
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
