Location: National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment.

  • Understand the technology landscape
  • Conduct technical research
  • Provide guidance toward organizational technical excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to enable solving strategic business objectives through technology.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure and network design, APIs, middleware, clustering technologies, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
  • Understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
