Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather IAM-related requirements, and document functional and technical specifications.
  • Analyze the current IAM environment, identify gaps, and suggest improvements to optimize access control, authentication, and user provisioning processes.
  • Project Management & Support:
  • Lead IAM projects, collaborating with IT teams, security experts, and business units to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Facilitate the implementation of IAM solutions, including access governance, role-based access control (RBAC), and single sign-on (SSO) systems.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy:
  • Design and improve IAM workflows, ensuring alignment with compliance, security policies, and business goals.
  • Develop IAM strategies and roadmaps, ensuring they align with enterprise-level security frameworks and future needs.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Create and maintain IAM-related documentation, including user guides, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Provide regular reports on IAM system performance, user access trends, and potential security risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and security teams, ensuring effective communication about IAM needs and solutions.
  • Conduct IAM training sessions for business users to ensure understanding and proper use of the systems.
  • Compliance & Security:
  • Ensure all IAM processes and systems comply with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
  • Participate in audits and contribute to the development of security protocols related to identity management.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on IAM or information security.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Azure AD).
  • Strong understanding of access management concepts such as RBAC, SSO, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and directory services.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks like GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business processes and recommend solutions to optimize IAM systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
