Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and migrate network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers) for multiple customers.
Serve as an escalation point for critical network/security issues and provide exceptional service to clients.
Manage network and firewall migrations (Cisco, Palo Alto) and support cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Troubleshoot complex network and security challenges with precision and expertise.
Apply compliance and security standards (SOX, SOC2, PCI) and create reliable controls for customers.
Perform network assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance security and performance.
Document network configurations and collaborate with clients to tailor security policies to their needs.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

Expertise in enterprise-grade routing and switching protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and SD-WAN.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 2K), Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto Firewalls (REQUIRED).
Strong knowledge of security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention strategies.
Ability to handle complex projects with a positive, collaborative attitude.
Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours support as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 7+ years of experience as a Network/Security Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCDP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE (not required but a plus).
