• Develops secure and robust cloud solution architectures, concentrating on reviewing and debugging code written by others to ensure the security and integrity of the overall system architecture.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance the security architecture by eliminating or automating the remediation of recurring issues, thereby improving the overall operational stability and security of software applications and systems.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Secure Cloud Solution concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Ability to define and enforce strategic access control framework, incorporating principles of least privilege, zero trust, and RBAC
• Strong ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to embed IAM best practices within secure-by-design and shift-left development frameworks
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Expertise with privilege access management strategies
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities early in the development process
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience
• Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture

• Industry Certifications like Microsoft AZ-500, AWS Certified Security, CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional
• Multi-cloud architecture and integration strategies
