Salary Range: $100K - $120K

Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of Systems Security Plans (SSP), Standing Operating Procedures (SOP), information security policies, and required bodies of evidence, as necessary, to ensure compliance with RMF guidelines
  • Ensuring the development and implementation of an effective information systems security education, training and awareness program (SETA)
  • Overseeing compliance of security settings for operating systems including Windows, Linux, etc on all information systems within the accreditation boundary
  • Ensuring proper measures are taken when information system incident or vulnerability is discovered
  • Managing and executing the information security continuous monitoring program
  • Ensuring configuration management policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an information system are followed and assess changes to the system, its environment, and operational needs that could affect the security authorization
  • Manages classified equipment, materials, and information in accordance with DoD COMSEC policies
  • Oversee accurate inventory, distribution, accountability, and destruction of COMSEC keys and related material; maintains COMSEC material and equipment
  • Ensures the integrity of the COMSEC/TRANSEC program; maintains records and files, issues and recovers COMSEC equipment in accordance with established policies
  • Maintaining required information security certifications (CISSP, SEC+, etc)

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems Management, or related discipline required.
  • Associate’s degree with at least 7-yrs experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-yrs of experience in developing and implementing Systems Security Plans (SSP), managing information system incidents and vulnerabilities, and overseeing compliance with security settings for operating systems.
  • 5-yrs of experience in executing information security continuous monitoring programs and managing configuration management policies and procedures for hardware/software authorization.
  • CSWF IAM Level II or Level III or CISSP Certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
