• Design and implement major components of products.
• Evaluate performance of products; tune, re-evaluate the design and implementation of current source code.
• Collaborate with team members and technical leads.
• Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance existing products or new product directions.
• Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents.
• Conduct presentations internal and external.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Review other team members’ code changes and providing constructive feedback.
• Serve as a subject expert matter on BIG-IP Next Instantiation, Onboarding, and Discovery from BIG-IP Next Central Manager and BIG-IP Next HA (High Availability) Management from BIG-IP Next Central Manager.
• Use security best practices and meet all security requirements for new Product Features.
• Telecommuting is an option.
• Some travel to F5 offices may be required.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline
• One (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field
