Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy and roadmap for Veeam Corporate Metrics in collaboration with Senior Leadership (C-Suite) and cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Sales, etc.).
  • Define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for external reporting, creating a sustainable and scalable data asset to support them. Develop solutions to enhance visibility into actions that can impact and forecast these metrics.
  • Operationalize the execution of the roadmap, including: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, requirements, and data sources. This will include both hands-on process documentation as well as holding stakeholders accountable to required actions.
  • Collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, and Reporting teams to share business context and metric updates while understanding data requirements for analytical solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into development instructions for Data Engineering Team.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers on design and solution brainstorming.
  • Work hand in hand with the engineering team to come up with creative solutions to complex data problems.
  • Recommend and approve schema changes within our data warehouse, to meet front-end user needs Own the operationalization and reporting of the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) metric.
  • Represent corporate metrics in the CRM re-platform project, influencing design decisions and translating changes to downstream stakeholders. Partner with Quality/Governance teams to establish strong systems for data quality across products.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in developing data products and metrics, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience in a product owner or metrics lead role.
  • Deep understanding of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and associated metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in AI-driven solutions.
  • Technical skills in SQL for examining, handling, and reporting on large datasets.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement reporting strategies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in CRM and QTC systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Experience with external reporting needs for a public company.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret complex organizational challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Skilled in establishing and tracking key performance indicators, particularly related to ARR, Finance, and HR.
  • Experience in process mapping and documentation.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Project management skills to execute cross-functional assignments effectively.
