We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about identifying vulnerabilities and helping organizations improve their security posture. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on various client environments, including networks, web applications, and systems.
Collaborate with clients to communicate findings and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
Assist in regulatory IT controls-focused compliance audits (SOC 2, NIST CSF, GLBA), offering both technical and compliance-based insights.
Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, techniques, and industry best practices.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in continued learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and certifications.
Travel up to 8-10 weeks per year for client engagements, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
United States Citizenship is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of penetration testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical report writing.
Ability to travel for work during the business week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, such as SOC 2, NIST CSF, and GLBA, is highly preferred.
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
If not certified, candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain certification.
