  • Execute on account plans to deliver maximum revenue potential within a pool of broad, regionally focused accounts
  • Focus is on product land and growth, followed by retention. Smaller group of net new logos to go after in the Federal market.
  • Consult with VP- and C-level executives to develop and implement an effective enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Dynatrace; position Dynatrace relative to the competition
  • Generate velocity by establishing Dynatrace in new and existing markets through product demonstrations, in-market events and account-specific initiatives
  • Develop a contact network within named accounts and channel partners to ensure Dynatrace can be sold broadly and effectively
  • Work closely and co-sell with Dynatrace functional areas such as sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and other lines of business to develop and execute a solution strategy to meet customer business needs
  • Ensure your customers’ implementations are wildly successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED AND at least 3 years of experience in closing enterprise software sales
  • TS/SCI clearance required

Preferred Requirements:

  • You are able to manage sales cycles within complex organizations; while compressing decision cycles
  • Specific experience selling into Federal DoD/IC accounts
  • You have outstanding communication (written and oral), negotiation and presentations skills
  • You know how to collaborate internally across all supporting resources within sales to maximize your effectiveness and advance the sales process
  • You show a successful track record in Enterprise software sales
  • You thrive in high-velocity situations and can think/act with a sense of urgency
  • Your organizational, communication, negotiation and presentation skills are top-notch
  • You have experience with account mapping and planning
  • You are a motivated and tenacious self-starter who consistently delivers high performance against quota driven by VP- and C-level relationships
  • You possess MEDDIC experience
  • You possess APM experience (just a plus -- not necessary)
  • Up to 30% of travel required within the region

  • The salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our strategic enterprise accounts team for the West Region in the United States. This executive will play a critical role in driving growth, expanding our market presence, and accelerating revenue within our strategic enterprise segment. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills to drive a high-performance culture, manage complex sales processes, and ensure exceptional customer success. Reporting directly to the GM and SVP of NA Sales, the RVP will align with company goals, execute the sales strategy, and guide a team of seasoned Strategic Account Executives.

  • Develop, lead and execute the sales strategy for the West region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  • Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives. Provide mentorship, foster a positive culture, and drive team accountability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Own and deliver on revenue targets for the West Region, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and developing strategies to win new enterprise customers.
  • Own and measure the growth by Increasing renewal rates, reduce churn and expand our revenue in accounts through cross-sell and up-sell using advocacy and higher product adoption.
  • Drive operational rigor for territory mapping, account planning, opportunity/pipeline management and quarterly business reviews. Lead by example by using our sales methodology and processes effectively that enable accurate forecasting of opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers to drive satisfaction, adoption, expansion and retention. Act as an escalation point for complex negotiations and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent messaging, product alignment, and customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges to inform and adapt the regional sales strategy.
  • Implement and continuously improve processes, leveraging data and technology to drive operational efficiency and scalability within the region.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with 5+ years of leadership experience with a track record of success in enterprise sales within the software/SaaS industry.Â
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and developing high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills to effectively lead and manage a sales team. Very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of closing seven and eight figure software licensing deals.
  • Proven success attracting, hiring,and retaining a world class sales team which includes setting clear objectives, providing guidance and support, mentoring and developing team members while fostering a high-performance sales culture.
  • Proven Experience with MEDDPICC and value-based selling.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Second line leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Challenger selling is a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to work collaboratively across departments and foster a culture of teamwork and high performance.

WHAT JFROG CAN OFFER…

  • At JFrog, base salary is only one component of our compensation package.
  • This position has a base salary range between $225,000 to $250,000.  Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
  • Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
  • This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU).  In addition, JFrog employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

  • Collaborate with Arista Account Managers to gain an in-depth understanding of our enterprise and commercial clients and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews to identify areas for improvement in network performance and efficiency
  • Conduct Arista product presentations of Arista's Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including Wi-Fi) networking solutions, CloudVision (Network Automation), Security (Network Detection), Endpoint Security, and Real-time Fabric Monitoring solutions
  • Utilize your expertise in network design and implementation, including leaf and spine architectures involving overlay technologies such as VxLAN and EVPN, to create consistent and highly scalable Arista Data Center and Campus network solutions that improve network performance and efficiency for our enterprise and commercial clients in the region
  • Conduct thorough hands-on testing of customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using the latest Arista products and features. This testing will ensure the successful deployment and performance of Arista network solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients and prospects in the region
  • Offer design guidelines and provide recommendations to our clients and prospects in the region to enhance the performance and efficiency of the networks they support. These recommendations will balance specific customer needs with proven Arista Validated Designs to meet the specific needs of our clients and designed to optimize their network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to respond to RFP/RFQs and provide valuable customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
  • Through your expertise and insights, you will help to ensure that Arista network solutions meet the needs of our clients and prospects in the region. As a member of the Arista Sales Engineering team, you will help drive features, functions, and product development through your feedback and help shape the future of our network solutions.
  • Serve as a representative of Arista at SDN and other Open Networking industry events and conferences. Through your expertise and thought leadership, you will help to build awareness and promote Arista's innovative network solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking technology, including competitive solutions, products, and services

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in L2/L3 networking design and implementation with a focus on Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Expert-level experience with routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols, as well as overlay technologies such as VxLAN.
  • Current hands-on experience in designing highly scalable leaf-spine network architectures.
  • Expert knowledge in Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, and QoS.
  • Local to the area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Network Industry Certification preferred, such as ACE-L4, ACE-L6, ACE-L7, and others.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the competitor technology landscape, specifically Cisco and Juniper.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the industry-standard Command Line Interface (CLI).
  • Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible is highly desired.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to create informative white papers on technology and products is highly desired.
